Volunteer Opportunities
Advocate Program
Once you become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, our staff will help you select a child that is a good match for you. In order to ensure stability and constancy for the children we serve, Advocates are asked for a commitment of 12 months. During that time, Advocates visit their child on a regular basis, spending 10 to 12 hours per month on volunteer responsibilities. About twice a year, Advocates submit reports to the court and attend a court hearing regarding the child. For more information about becoming an Advocate volunteer, attend an upcoming Orientation.

The Non-Advocate Volunteers (NAVs) Program
The NAVs Program offers wonderful opportunities for people who want to become involved but may not have the time or desire to become an Advocate. These volunteers provide office support, work on special projects and plan children's activities and fundraisers. Volunteers in the NAVs program choose the work they're interested in, how much time they want to commit to, and the location of their work in one of our offices or in their own home. The NAVs program is always looking for individuals interested in volunteering on a regular basis, or working on a single event.
